CanningDates

CanningDates turns a US ZIP code into the canning altitude adjustments a home canner needs — added minutes for a boiling-water bath, pounds of pressure for a canner. It stops where the USDA tables stop, refusing to invent a processing time above 10,000 feet rather than splitting the difference.

Notes

A warm cream page anchored by a heavy old-style serif, with deep pine green held back for the two things that matter — the lookup form and the table headers. The centrepiece is a preview of the printable label: a bordered card of letterspaced caps and hairline rules, sized to a regular-mouth lid, so the page shows the physical object it produces rather than describing it. Below that the design turns plain and procedural — numbered steps, three small USDA tables, a bordered safety note, a collapsed FAQ. The restraint fits a subject where the numbers have to be right.
