The homepage is built from full-width horizontal bands, each one cut on a diagonal so the next color slides in underneath — slate, teal, mustard, charcoal — which keeps a long scroll moving without a single dividing rule. Headings are set lowercase and light (‘yearbooks’, ‘customers are saying’, ‘family business’), leaving the photography to carry the weight: framed portraits propped on a wooden shelf, silhouetted children at sunset, a sepia class photo with handwriting still across it. The school-name search sits second from the top in one wide field, which is the only thing most arriving parents came to do.
