Framed is a daily game that shows one still from a film and asks players to name it, with five more frames revealed for each wrong guess. Its anonymous creator has been hand-picking a film every day since March 2022 — puzzle #1622 and counting.

The whole game sits in one narrow centred column on near-black navy, with the red Framed wordmark the only saturated thing above the still. The frame appears letterboxed inside its own black bars rather than cropped to fit — for a puzzle that turns on composition, the aspect ratio is part of the clue. Everything below it stays deliberately quiet: a single numeral marking which frame is showing, a search field, and a muted small-caps guess counter. The two challenge buttons in green and dark red supply the only other colour, sitting above the frame as departures rather than as navigation.
