Manus

Manus is a general AI agent that carries out whole tasks — research, slide decks, working websites — inside its own cloud computer. Meta bought it for $2 billion in December 2025; Chinese regulators ordered the deal unwound, and this month it returned to operating independently.

Notes

The page is almost entirely empty: a warm paper-grey field, a small line-drawn glyph as the mark, and one high-contrast serif line — “What can I do for you?” — set where a product screenshot would normally go. That serif, and the first-person phrasing, pull the register away from the neon dark-mode landing pages most agent startups ship, toward something closer to a book’s title page. Below it the actual input sits in a soft white card with a row of small icon pills — slides, website, design, games — so the only thing above the fold is the thing a visitor came to use. No hero video, no logo wall, no feature grid.
