Physical Intelligence (π)
Physical Intelligence is a San Francisco company training general-purpose foundation models that aim to control any robot on any task. It publishes its work as a dated research log rather than a product pitch, and released the weights for its first model, π0, openly in February 2025.

Notes
The entire homepage is a single narrow column on warm off-white: a serif wordmark, three underlined nav links, a four-line statement of purpose, then a vertical rule of dated research posts running back to October 2024. Everything below the wordmark is monospace, which puts subscripted π version numbers, dates and paper titles into one flat technical register with no images and no demo reel. The numbered model releases sit in heavy black frames with a hard offset shadow while lesser announcements get a lighter tinted box, so fourteen entries read as a hierarchy of milestones instead of a feed. Restraint is the credential here.
