Telepathic Instruments
Telepathic Instruments makes the Orchid, a portable chord synth for musicians who write by ear rather than by theory. Co-founded by Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, it grew from an idea he says he carried for over a decade: a machine that hands over chords rather than asking a player to name them.

The page opens in near-darkness — a starfield, a face lit from below, the Orchid hovering above it — under a high-contrast serif headline more at home on a poetry cover than a gear site. Below that the register changes completely: an overlapping mosaic of video stills badged Telepathic Television, then flat fields of safety orange, forest green and cream, each section announced in wide pixel-bitmap capitals that spell STUDIOS and SIGN UP at full page width. The shop is deliberately quiet by comparison, a four-up row on white with small plain prices, so buying reads as a footnote to the photographs of musicians actually playing the thing.
